This is the registration for the Icelandic National Championships outdoor 2017,  15-16 July and Iceland Archery Open outdoor 2017

We welcome everyone that wants to participate from Iceland and other countries.

The tournament will be held at Leirdalur archery range in Reykjavik.
Leirdal í Reykjavík (Þorláksgeisla 51, 113 Reykjavík).

Practice for competitors coming from abroad are included in the competition fee one week before and after the competition. The range should be open for practise most days before the competition.

All participants can participate in the qualification round.

The match rounds will then be split into 2 brackets (so there will be 2 tournaments but only 1 qualification).

Match round brackets 1 = Icelandic Championships, only those that have resided in Iceland for 3 years or more and can become Icelandic National Champions, according to the Icelandic Olympic Committee Rules.

Match round brackets 2 = ICELAND ARCHERY OPEN,  All participants from all nations can participate. Icelandic participants can participate in both brackets (this split is only done when there are participants from other nations that cannot participate in the first bracket.)

Age categories, distances and target faces:
Open Category (all ages) Senior.
E-50 (50+) Master.
U-21 (Under 21 years of age) Junior.
U-18 (Under 18 years of age) Cadet.
U-15 (Under 15 years of age) Nordic Cadet.

(The age is determined by the year of birth (not date of birth))

Bow categories:
Compound
Recurve
Barebow
(barebow categories will all shoot on a full face 80cm target faces and there will be no match round brackets for barebow, highest qualification score wins.)

Competition distances and target faces are as follow:

Recurve (sveigbogi):
Open category (Senior) and U-21 (Junior) 122cm target face at 70 meters.
Byrjendaflokkur (Novice), U-18 (Cadet) and E-50 (Master) 122cm target face at 60 meters.
U-15(Nordic Cadet) 122cm target face at 40 meters.

Compound (trissubogi):
Opinn flokkur, Byrjendaflokkur, U-21(Junior), U-18(Cadet) and E-50(Master) all use an 80cm target face 5-10 at 50 meters.
U-15(Nordic Cadet) 122cm target face at 40 meters.

Barebow (berbogi):
All categories use an 80cm full (1-10) target face at 30 meters.

Team competition (liðakeppni):
Team competition will be available in this tournament. Teams must consist of 3 individuals from the same club in the same bow category. All ages and genders can compete together in the same team.

World archery target rules will apply unless otherwise specified in the information above.
